City's Rail Project Restarts in Kapolei

Drilling got underway in Kapolei Monday morning as the city's rail transit project resumed construction.  It was halted after the Hawaii Supreme Court ruled that archaeological survey work should have been completed on the entire 20-mile route before construction in leeward Oahu began. On September 11, the city passed two resolutions allowing construction to restart.
