The Hawaii State Department of Health is asking local retailers to voluntarily remove OxyElite Pro, a diet supplement for weight loss and/or muscle building, from shelves. The request comes as the state investigates 29 cases of acute hepatitis and liver failure that occurred in Hawaii between May and October of this year, and may be related to the use of the diet supplement. Two people have undergone liver transplants and one person died. If you are using the product, you're advised to discontinue taking it.
