Elderts' Parents Felt 'Abandoned' by Prosecutors

The parents of Kollin Elderts, who was shot to death by State Department special agent Christopher Deedy, have hired Honolulu attorney Michael Green to represent them in a civil case brought against Deedy and the federal government. Jennell and Kendall Elderts say they were "abandoned" and lied to by prosecutors who didn't ask the judge to allow the jury to consider a lesser manslaughter charge.
