Big Island fire officials are trying to determine the cause of an early morning fire that destroyed a two-story home in Pahoa. The fire was reported just before 12:30 a.m. on Lehua Road. It took 17 firefighters 33 minutes to bring the fire under control. The four-bedroom home was destroyed. Damage was estimated at $90,000. There were no injuries.
