Honolulu's rail project will receive $63.8 million in general excise tax revenue for the latest quarter. Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) officials say it's the largest amount of quarterly GET surcharge revenue for the project to date. The quarter ended September 30. HART Executive Director Dan Grabauskas says strong GET revenue and the $1.55 billion in federal funding is keeping the project on budget.
