Three people were killed in a crash in Nanakuli Saturday night. It happened at about 8:30 p.m. on Farrington Highway just after Piliokahi Avenue. Kitiona's vehicle split in two, killing his 18-year-old girlfriend and one-and-a-half year-old daughter, as well as a male passenger, who has not been identified. Kitiona was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The 42-year-old woman driving the pickup truck and her three passengers - a 49-year-old woman, and two girls, ages 14 and 3, were seriously injured. Police suspect Kitiona was not only speeding, but he was driving drunk.
