Prosecutors have charged a Waipahu man in connection with an early morning stabbing outside a Kakaako bar Sunday. Twenty-nine-year-old William Villarreal was charged Monday with second-degree attempted murder and disorderly conduct after he was seen lunging at a 28-year-old man with a knife just after 1:30 a.m. outside the Geisha House on Kapiolani Boulevard. Villareal posted $100,000 bail and will be in court to enter a plea in the case later this week. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment, but his condition is not known.
